Overview
Thank you to Béatrice, Sabine, Alexis, and Michel Degrève for sharing their stories on *Legend Story*. This year marks the tenth anniversary of the attacks that struck Brussels on March 22, 2016—at Zaventem Airport and on a metro train at Maelbeek station. The toll was devastating: 35 dead and 340 injured, making these the deadliest attacks in Belgian history. Ten years later, the victims and first responders remain deeply scarred by what they experienced that morning. In this documentary, Béatrice, Sabine, and Alexis recount their experiences on March 22, 2016, and the ongoing impact that day has on their lives. We also look back at the trial for the Brussels attacks—which lasted more than nine months—with insights from lawyer Michel Degrève.
